Security

Your books hold private money matters. This is how we protect them, in plain words.

Signing in

• You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. It works once, for 10 minutes. There is no password that could leak.
• Every phone and computer signed in to your account is listed in the app. You can sign one out, or all of them at once.
• On your phone, the app can ask for your fingerprint, face or PIN every time it opens.

Your data

• Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS), and is stored encrypted on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, India.
• The database is backed up every day, and a copy is kept in a second city, so one disaster can't wipe it out.
• Bills and agreements are kept in private storage. Each one opens only through a link that lasts five minutes.
• Totals can't drift: every entry is double-entry, checked by the database itself, and nothing is ever silently changed. A deleted entry is cancelled with a record, so history stays honest.

Who can see your books

• Only you, and the people you invite to a book, with the role you choose (partner, accountant, staff or viewer).
• Our support team works from a panel that cannot show your entries, people or amounts. It only shows your account and your support messages.
• No ads, no tracking, and we never sell data.

Statements you share

A statement link shows one person their own entries with you. The link can't be guessed, it stops working after the days you choose (90 at most), and you can turn it off any time.
