Delete your account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Account Runway on your phone, or the web app at app.accountrunway.com, and sign in.
2. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and confirm. It happens at once.

Without the app

Email jaiswalkishan0010@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Account Runway account". If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm by email from your sign-in address. We delete the account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

Want a copy first?

Before deleting, download each book from Reports → Export, and your statements as PDF. After deletion we cannot recover anything.

What is deleted

• Your account: your email address, name, sign-in, every device and its reminders.
• Every book you own, with all its people, entries, files, statement links and history, for everyone in it.
• Your support messages and your votes on ideas.
• Copies in file version history are removed within 30 days, and copies in database backups within 35 days.

What is kept

• Books that other people own stay with them. Entries you added there remain in their history, shown as added by "Deleted user".
• Purchase records (which plan, dates and the store's order reference), for up to 8 years after the purchase, because Indian tax and accounting laws require it. Google Play or the App Store keep their own records under their own policies.
• An idea of yours that we published stays as its public title and vote count, with nobody's name.

Plans bought in Google Play or the App Store are not cancelled by deleting your account: cancel them in the store's subscription settings so you are not charged again.
