Moving from a paper khata to your phone
A paper khata has served shops for generations. But it can be lost, get wet, or stay at the shop while you are somewhere else. Moving it to your phone is easier than most people expect.
Do not copy old pages
You only need today's position. For each person, write what they owe you today, or what you owe them. Keep the old khata safely in a drawer in case you ever need to look back.
Bring a long list at once
If your customers are in Excel or Google Sheets, save the list as CSV and import names, phones and balances in one go on the web app. Nothing is saved until you press Import.
Try it first
Open a sample shop with made-up customers and press everything. When you understand it, remove it in one tap and create your real book.
No internet? Keep writing
Entries are saved on your phone first, and go up by themselves when the signal returns. The app shows which ones have not been sent yet.
It stays yours
You can download your book as a PDF or a spreadsheet at any time. If you delete a book by mistake, it waits 90 days in Recently deleted so you can bring it back.
